When drilling hard floor and wall tiles, water cooling is a widely used method, especially when working with thicker tiles. This prevents overheating, reduces dust during sawing and drilling, and provides a beautiful, clean result. The downside: all that water, everywhere. Furthermore, ceramic tiles, for example, must be thoroughly dry before bonding, so the work is slowed down by all that water.
